: ,hereinafter referred to as MBJBL, is a not-for-profit organization. The organization promotes the development of citizenship and sportsmanship, while providing an outlet for athletic activity. The organization is designed to teach the spirit of competition as a team, the values of physical fitness through the challenge of physical skills, and the game of basketball. MBJBL strives to prepare the youth in our league for continued involvement in the Mooresville Basketball Program. Changes made to 5th grade game times for Saturday. Also changed 3rd grade and 5th grade games for 02/15 and 02/16 to allow for our players participating in MCSC Math Bowl. Please check the "Schedules & Stats" link to the left for updates throughout the tournament. Please make sure to notice that games on weeknights will all be played at the Newby Dome. Players and coaches only will be allowed in the north bleachers (behind the benches) during tournament games. Board members will be keeping the book and clock during all tournament games - thank you for those that have volunteered to help with both throughout the year. Please note that trophies and academic awards will be handed out to the team that does not advance immediately after each game. We ask for your assistance in keeping the floor clear in between games. 6th graders will receive their awards at 6th grade night on February 18th, 6:00 in the Newby Dome.
